A significant portion of all audio media is still consumed on one particular occasion - while driving. And a significant portion of drivers are in the market for a new car. So this was the perfect medium to target with a campaign highlighting Nissan’s automatic emergency braking, a proprietary technology available across most of their range. The result was a wry series of stories about people with a tendency to overlook obvious threats, narrated by a deadpan David Sedaris-alike.
The campaign received an in-book at Communication Arts and won 1 Gold, 4 Silver and 3 Bronze London International Awards.
