Ah, the holidays: when a crazy year gets that little bit crazier. But isn’t that also part of the fun? Therabody, the tech wellness innovator beloved of so many celebs, approached RUNT to develop its first-ever holiday campaign, starring Peloton instructor and influencer Ally Love. The launch film recreates a scene from Ally’s family holiday get-togethers, 3 seconds in real time, shot at 600fps to play out over 30 seconds. As the sequence of holiday disasters unfolds around Ally, she remains in the bubble of calm created by her Theragun, Therabody’s best-selling percussive therapy device. The message is simple: the way to true happiness this festive season is to accept the chaos you can’t change, and take control of what you can i.e, your athletic recovery. ‘Calm in the Storm’ was directed by Pat Hall and produced by Stept Studios and Lockt Editorial.
